Change how one serves??

Don’t know how the USAPA sees it, but this guy has an interesting idea on changing the way we’ve got to do the serve. Take a look by clicking on the caption below. Let us know what you think in the “Comments” section below.

Change how one serves?

Hope all are having a challenging summer, with plenty of pickleball. Your “Dinking Committee,” the one that provides this blog site, is off to Park City for three months. We’ll continue posting items of interest and look forward to a great season of Indian Ridge pickleball when returning in October. There’ll be three new courts, a refurbished seating area, more interclub play and many new play time opportunities. Ciao!

A Pickleball Summer?

Well, now that the daily Palm Desert temperature hovers in the 105-120 range, it’s smart to spend more time indoors. But that doesn’t mean we have to neglect our pickleball passion. Some are already at cooler sites, or about to be.* Whichever the case, we’ll continue to post pickleball-related information and videos of interest though out the summer months to the Indian Ridge pickleball community, such as the June USAPA E-Newsletter below. It’s brief but interesting, containing a video tip from former Palm Valley (now Andalusia) tennis/pickle pro, Blake Wilcox, and a video training lesson from our Desert Inter-club organizer, Barbra Wintroub.

*The Smiths will be leaving for Park City this week for three months, joining the Chapmans and others, but will continue reporting from this very active pickleball venue. SO STAY TUNED AND PLEASE USE THE “COMMENT” SECTION TO SHARE YOUR PICKLEBALL THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCES OVER THE SUMMER WITH YOUR FELLOW IRCC PICKLEBALLERS.
